The Trump administration is about to break records for the longest economic expansion in history. By economic standards, full employment has been achieved, and inflation is nearly dead. Many claim that Trump is riding economic growth provided by Obama, and in a way this is true. Obama’s policies suppressed the rebound from the recession until Trump came in and implemented policies that allowed for this kind of economic growth.
For example, despite the Trump administration continuing the downward trend of unemployment, 94% of jobs he created were part-time jobs, according to Alan Krueger, a former top White House economist under Obama.
Further, the economy under Obama was predicted to grow at over 4% coming out of the recession; it grew by 2%. Obama’s economy consistently fell below expectations, Trump’s economy has consistently exceeded expectations.
These types of facts concerning President Trump’s successful presidency are largely overlooked by individuals worldwide that continue to insist on hating our 45th president. It is evident that the majority of the potential voters in this country do little to no research about candidates they vote for.
