Representative Peter King, R-N.Y., said that he is “confident” that when Attorney General Bill Barr completes his investigation of the origins of the investigation of President Trump’s 2016 campaign, the American people will learn that the FBI and CIA under the Obama administration engaged in foul play, Fox News reported.

In a Friday interview with New York radio host John Catsimatidis, Peter King claimed, “There was no legal basis at all for them to begin the investigation of his campaign, and the way they carried it forward and the way information was leaked, the improper applications they filed in the FISA court to get surveillance, all of this is going to come out.”

A recent RealClearInvestigations report supports King’s claims. The report reviewed Mueller’s findings and found multiple inconsistencies and reliance on extremely bias sources, like former CIA Director and major Trump Critic John Brennan. Mueller’s investigation did not even personally investigate the hacking of Democratic National Committee emails, instead of using a DNC contractor to conclude Russia was behind it.

Let’s hope that this is not just another example of political talk. Anyone that is familiar with investigations should be able to see very quickly who was responsible for corrupting or complicating the Russia investigation.
