Federal law enforcement officials raided a Philadelphia’s port this week and discovered a massive amount of cocaine. 33,000 pounds of cocaine were found inside seven shipping containers. Based on my experience on an FBI criminal squad in NYC, drug trafficking on the east coast is nothing new. However, it is clear that they are likely looking for alternatives to the southern border due to the heightened law enforcement presence there.

This is a clear signal that President Trump’s border policies are working. While it may seem like a game of whack-a-mole, in this version the hole gets sealed off so the mole cannot come through it anymore.

If President Trump continues pushing border legislation then eventually our border will become fully secure and there will be practically zero moles to whack.

Cocaine use and overdose deaths have been on a rise in the U.S. for the first time in years after Columbia, the source of 90% of the cocaine supply to the U.S., has greatly increased its production. Hopefully, we can stop the illegal import of these substances and save American lives.
