Medic testifies that he, not Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher, was responsible for ISIS fighter’s death

Truth will always find a way out when it’s being held captive by guilty people.

Fox News

Fox News reported today that SEAL Team Seven Medic Corey Scott testified in the trial of Navy SEAL Edward Gallagher, who has been accused of killing an injured ISIS prisoner of war in Iraq, made an astonishing announcement when he testified to being the one who killed the ISIS prisoner, not Gallagher.

During cross-examination in the courtroom at Naval Base San Diego, Scott revealed that he killed the fighter through suffocation, by holding his thumb over the breathing tube that had been inserted into the militant’s mouth.

Gallagher, 40, was alleged to have committed his crimes during his final year of deployment. Investigators had claimed that Gallagher had stabbed the militant in the neck, while he was receiving medical treatment, killing the terrorist. They claim Gallagher then posed for photographs with the fighter’s body, head in one hand and knife in the other.

This admittance from Scott comes after a more than one-year trial that brought into question the character of a war hero. Truth will always find a way out when it’s being held captive by guilty people. What we are witnessing now is an innocent man being saved by the truth his so-called brothers were hiding.
