Representative Ilhan Omar, D-Minn, is backing her freshman colleague, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., over the claim that there were “concentration camps” imprisoning illegal immigrants at the Southern border, citing that what the government is doing is the “general definition.”
According to Fox News, Omar said, “When you look at what is taking place, people are being put in camps. And when you think about the definition, if we separate it from death camps, I would say these are camps and people are being concentrated in them. And so that’s the general definition.”
Ocasio-Cortez made this claim on Monday during a live stream and then doubled down on in tweets using the Holocaust-linked saying “never again.” Ocasio-Cortez then, after the backlash, claimed there were plenty of different concentration camps and that she was not referring to the Holocaust, despite using the very well-known saying.
As long as the @GOPLeader supports jailing children and families on the border, I will continue to hold him to account for it.
That’s why I’m calling on Rep. McCarthy to apologize for aiding and supporting the separation of children from their parents.pic.twitter.com/ogHXY7pD3p

This alliance is unsurprising based off of the history of similar alliances. If you do not know the term “Red-Green Alliance”, I highly recommend that you research it. The relationship between AOC and Omar is a predictable one as communists and Fundamental Islamic Jihadists have been working together for centuries.
It is an unholy alliance that has now been allowed to creep into our government and profess outlandish and false statements like comparing detainment of illegal aliens at the border to the Jews that were murdered in Germany.
